About Laura's Bark 'n Breakfast

Our Story

 We love dogs. Jim used to breed Black Labs, and Laura has had dogs in her life since she was a young girl. Laura has experience with basic training through AKC classes with her Husky, Sky. We understand the importance of trust in our industry, and we work hard to earn your trust and loyalty. We are both Emergency Medical Technicians and are comfortable with medication administration and any special care your dog may need. 

Our Philosophy

At Laura's Bark 'n Breakfast, we believe that pets are members of the family and deserve the same level of care and attention as their owners give. We treat every pet in our care with love, respect, and compassion. We take up to 3 dogs only to ensure your pet(s) are well taken care of (and maybe a little spoiled)!

The day rate will be added for pick up times after 12:00 pm. We offer a 10% discount on all boarding exceeding 14 days. Please note, we are not a kennel style boarding service, your dog is integrated into our home and treated as a family member!

Yes, we require all pets to be up to date on their vaccinations for their safety and the safety of other pets in our care.

Yes, we have a huge fenced in yard for exercise, play and getting the zoomies out.

Yes. But if you prefer us to not spoil your pet, we will honor that. 

Food, medications, special instructions, vaccination record. You are also welcome to bring your pet's bed, blanket or non-plush toys to make them feel more comfortable during their stay. I provide bowls and treats.

We require 24-hour notice for cancellations. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a fee.

We offer boarding services for dogs only. 

We offer pet sitting in your home and drop in visits. Please call, text or email if you need this type of service. 

Since we have a neutered male dog, we cannot board an intact male.  The most common type of altercation involves neutered males aggressing toward intact males.

No. We are very flexible with pick up and drop off times and will work around your needs. Please note, the day rate will be added for pick up times after 12:00pm.
